Everyone deserves to feel safe in their home and community.
What is safeguarding?
Safeguarding means:
- keeping children, young people and adults safe from harm
- preventing abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination
- supporting people to live safely and independently
It’s about looking out for each other and making sure help is there when it’s needed.
Abuse can take many forms, including:
- physical or emotional abuse
- financial abuse or exploitation
- neglect
- domestic abuse
- hate crimes or harassment
If you’re worried about yourself or someone else, it’s important to speak up. We’re here to listen and help.
How we can help
Our teams are trained to recognise safeguarding concerns and respond appropriately. We work closely with local authorities, support services and emergency services, when needed.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, always call 999. For non-emergency police support, you can call 101.
If you’re worried about your own safety, or someone else’s, please get in touch.
Report antisocial behaviour
Everything you need to know about reporting antisocial behaviour, hate crimes or domestic abuse, including how we manage your case.
