About the build
The work will be done in phases. The first phase will provide 29 new apartments for our 55+ residents:
- 19 one-bedroom apartments
- 10 two-bedroom apartments
Phase two will bring:
- six one-bedroom apartments
- three two-bedroom apartments
- three two-bedroom houses
- two three-bedroom houses
These homes are being built to meet net-zero carbon emission standards. They’ll have solar panels and air-source heat pumps to help make them sustainable and affordable for residents, long-term. Green roofs will filter rainwater, slowing it as it flows into our drains, which helps reduce the impact on the local community.
