Collaboration was at the heart of this year’s Chari-TEE Golf Day, as colleagues, contractors, partners and supporters came together to raise an incredible £4,000 for our Charity of the Year, St David’s Hospice Care.
The annual event proved a huge success, demonstrating the power of partnership and the difference we can make when we work together towards a shared goal. From taking to the fairways and bidding in the auction, to donating prizes, purchasing raffle tickets and volunteering their time, everyone played their part in making the day one to remember.
Special thanks go to Peter Crockett, who once again took the lead in organising the event and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Appreciation also goes to Chris Jowitt, whose skills as auctioneer helped maximise fundraising efforts, and Fiona Williams, who kept the raffle moving and captured the day’s highlights behind the camera.
The event brought together teams from across our contractor and partner network, showcasing the strong relationships that help underpin our work throughout the year. Their support was instrumental in the success of the day and highlights the positive impact we can achieve through collaboration beyond our day-to-day activities.
Competition on the course was fierce, with Hugh James claiming this year’s trophy and ending Dragon Signs‘ reign at the top of the leaderboard. Most importantly, thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, £4,000 was raised for St David’s Hospice Care, helping the charity continue its vital work supporting people and families across the communities it serves.
A huge thank you to Parc Golf Club, and everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and supported the event. Together, we turned a great day of golf into meaningful support for an important cause.
